Who we are

Redwood Cinema is the private cinema practice of Redwood Technologies, at 110 Al Asmawi Building, DIP1, Dubai. It is part of Redwood Tech Group, established in Dubai in 2011.

Home cinema installation is handled as one scope: acoustics, picture, immersive audio, seating, lighting, and control, then installation, calibration, and handover. Redwood Tech integrates the systems in the rest of the residence. This profile is only the cinema, the media room, or the screening room.

A dedicated cinema is a room planned for screening. A media room is a living space with a considered screen, sound, and control. Redwood Cinema designs both. Hospitality and commercial venues are Redwood Venues.

Cinema room design

Layout, acoustics, screen, and seating, drawn before equipment is installed.

Acoustic design

Treatment and loudspeaker positions planned with the people who will sit there.

Immersive audio

Object-based sound, including Dolby Atmos, when the room can support the layout.

Projection and screens

Projection or a panel, sized to the seats and to how dark the room can be.

Seating and integration

Rows, lighting scenes, and joinery coordinated with the interior.

Control

Lighting, sources, and playback started from one interface.

Calibration

Cabling, a labelled rack, calibration, and a handover of the room.

Media rooms

A living space with a serious picture, rather than a room used only for film.

Private cinema

A room planned for screening.

Why Redwood

The cinema site is explicit about what it will and will not claim.

One room, one scope

Acoustics, picture, audio, seating, lighting, and control stay in a single cinema scope.

Atmos when the room allows

Dolby Atmos is specified when the layout can support it. The site does not claim Dolby, THX, CEDIA, or ISF certification.

Private, not commercial

Venues belong to Redwood Venues. The rest of the house belongs to Redwood Tech.
